TAKE A WALK ON SYDNEY’S WILD SIDE

CONNECT WITH NATURE, TANTALISE YOUR SENSES

What We Do

We go ‘off the beaten track’ to discover the Sydney few tourists ever see

Most people think of ‘boats’ when Sydney Harbour comes to mind but this experience is about exploring our world-famous waterway from the native bushland that lines her foreshores.

The two walks we share with you are true escapes for Sydney locals – and, for you too. The sights of Australia’s fascinating wildlife, the scents of our stunning native flowers and the sounds of the sea will awaken your senses.

As we walk, we share stories and a little slice of Sydney that tourists rarely experience as we show you our favourite places, through our local eyes.

Lunch will be enjoyed at one of a selection of seaside restaurants, cjosen to match your cuisine preferences. Here, you'' dine at a relaxed pace, sip on Australian wines, and recharge before we continue with the afternoon's adventures.

And..because this is Sydney, the adventures do include ‘boats’!  As the sun sets on your day seeing Sydney through our local eyes, we’ll enjoy a great Aussie beer at our local yacht club – and, most likely, a good laugh with our sailing mates!

The Highlights

A rare chance to experience the flip side of Sydney’s cosmopolitan lifestyle

We’ll take a walk on Sydney’s wild side to uncover some of its hidden treasures. Along the way, laugh with kookaburras and marvel at beautiful wildflowers, as your hosts share fascinating insights into Australia’s unique flora and fauna. With a wealth of knowledge about native plants and wildlife, they’ll introduce you to the wonders of the bush and its colourful inhabitants, including water dragons, native birds, and other creatures we may encounter.

You’ll love soaking up the charm of rustic fishermen’s huts nestled on the lapping waters of a secluded bay, each one telling stories of days gone by, set against a multi-million dollar harbour vista. We’ll also visit a site featuring Indigenous rock carvings and stroll along a series of stunning Sydney Harbour beaches, including a natural marine park with sparkling waters that may tempt you in for a dip.

This is a day of moments to remember, a journey to connect with nature – and with ‘the locals’ who make Sydney so unique.

Jeff and Diane from USA share their Off The Beaten Track experience:

“For me it exceeded expectations. I knew we were going to see beautiful things, but I didn’t expect we would have such wonderful hosts. Jamie and Alex were able to show us the part of Sydney that we really wanted to see … getting close to nature, getting to know people. It’s just very personal … luncheon at their home was beyond what I could have hoped for. We really got a feeling of what it’s like to live in Sydney … so we’re really glad we went on this tour, it’s been very special! ”
